JEFFREY SCHNEIDER is a native Long Islander and has been active in the musical community for more than four decades. In addition to being a classical guitarist, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Cathedral College and began has postgraduate music training as a Bassoon major at Mannes College of Music and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. He received his Master's degree in Church Music and Liturgy from the Rensselaer Program in Rensselaer, Indiana. Mr. Schneider founded the North Shore Chamber Choir, now in its 23rd season, and presently serves as its Artistic Director

 His extensive history in the arts includes serving as Artistic Director of the Long Island Gay Men's Chorus, co-conductor of the Brookhaven Choral Festival and Music Director at several churches in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties, during which time he published one of his church anthems and installed two pipe organs. He currently serves as Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Boniface Martyr Church in Sea Cliff, now in his 23rd year. Mr. Schneider is a recipient of the Cantate Domino award and is a member of the American Society of Composers and Publishers (ASCAP) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).
